Merry Christmas Me! :)

Happy Wednesday Everyone! :)

I know this might make you all laugh or go WHAT!?!?!? But this is what I am getting for Christmas. TITAN. (I found this on U-tube and couldn't resist sharing it because I LOVE their accents :)

I will let you know how it works I start the first treatment TODAY. Wish me luck and hope I am not a complete chicken when it comes to actually having it done! :)

Firstly, Meeling at The Hairy Peach Blog gave me the Stylish Blogger Award, Thank you so very much :) It means so much to me that people really enjoy my blog. :) Meeling is an aspiring Restaurateur and seeing the knowledge and dedication she has I think one day this Lady will be following her dream  :)

And a BIG "THANK YOU" to my Blogger Buddy Patty from "My Life Under The Bus" Blog who did a Blog post about me and my Photos Today! (YAY ME!)

I love Patty and her Blog she is funny and honest and always has something interesting to share :)

And I told Patty I seriously think my photos look better on her blog. :) I think I might have to switch blogs :)

Recovering From The Weekend!

Happy Tuesday Everyone :)

This is what I needed to do to recover from the weekend!!!!!

So, without having to pay a fortune on psychotherapy to recover from this weekend's event (local Art Show and Sale, well, way more showing than selling) I went thru a little self talk, yep, I am the crazy lady who talks to herself :)


1). I might not have sold much but nobody else did either! (OK, so all the guys did but that was it, so I didn't take it personally) PHEW!


But I do need to investigate this sexist thing! (Might have to spend a little psychotherapy cash on that one :(


2). Regardless of what the "powers that be" keep telling us that the recession is over,  in the trenches we know that it is FAR from over. People are still hurting and bargains (I mean ridiculously low prices) are wanted EVERYWHERE or people are not buying. Luxury and Non essential items are out and ART and Photography fits into both of those categories. Bummer! :(


3). I got to hang out with some other Artisans and see some great work and be inside in a cozy well lit room while it poured with rain and was cold and miserable outside.


4). My Hubby came over to watch over my booth while I went home to have a nap! :) Yep, I could never last a whole day, at anything without my NAP!

5). I didn't spend all Weekend on the Computer :)

6). I learnt a lot of valuable stuff, like really know what you are getting yourself into, sounds simple in hindsight but.................

Anyway, putting that behind me, I have decided to have a SALE in my Photography Shop on ETSY!

50% off everything in my Photography Shop 'til  22nd Nov. :)

So, check it out you might find a photo for that hard to buy for person in your life. :)

And to end on a High Note or 2, I would really like to thank my Blogger Buddy WIND who bestowed on me the  "Best Virtual Friend Award" last week. If you haven't seen her photography you are really missing something awesome. You can check it out HERE!

And Last but by no means least, I want to Thank my Blogger Buddy Kelli, from Bug Miscellany Blog who has to be one of the Sweetest people on the planet :)

1). I am a die hard Brit, living on the West Coast of America and yes, I love to drink tea and with a piece of cake, awesome! :)

2). Until recently I hadn't bought (or carried) a handbag for nearly 15 years. I did break down and buy a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag but I only use it when I travel.

3). I am a sucker for old movies esp. war movies.

4). I didn't own a Teddy Bear until I was 19!

5). I love to weight train when my health allows.

6). I want to learn how to fly a plane.

7). My son is the fourth generation of my family to be born in a different Country.

BLOG LOVE FEST :)

OH MY!!!!!! :)

I am soooooo excited and I know you guys hear that a lot around here but this truly blew me away with humility.

Last week I was honoured to be awarded 3, yep, you read that right, 3 different blog awards from fellow bloggers :)

This means so much to me because these came from people that I have enjoyed greatly over the past months and feel a wonderful friendship thru our blogs.

Not only do I get to enjoy these but I get to pass them along to others :)

The First one came from Teddy Started it, if you haven’t been over to visit you should, absolutely has me giggling to myself all the time reading her blog.

As a recipient I have to share 7 things about me that you might not already know, uh, oh.

So, here goes;

1). I do not like surprises. No, not at all! My poor Hubby and children know not to throw surprise parties, buy surprise gifts or have someone jump out of a cake (well, you get my drift)

2). I have lived in 7 Big Cities (and a few smaller ones) in 3 different countries.

3). As a young woman I vowed (To myself and anyone who would listen) I would never live anywhere other than London, England, note above, lived a few other places, thankfully no one was really listening but just be careful what you vow.

4). I am truly grateful every morning to be alive and kicking :)

5). I have wanted to own an Hotel forever! Perhaps, so I could stay in a place that I felt truly comfy in and I'd know the service would be how I wanted it.

6). I believe in Karma.

7). I have an obsession when it comes to hanging artwork. It has to be straight! Even when I go to other people’s homes, the Doc’s office, Hotels, even stores, I will straighten the artwork. (Scary?!?! :)

3). Cabin + Cub – Valerie is another busy person but always has time for others, is so positive, enlightening and funny.

4). Acrylic and Steel – Erica, is a young vibrant powerhouse. I think she could take over the world; she has so much talent in so many areas and is a loving Mom too :)

5). So Many Memories – Annette writes from the heart, she has so many interesting things to share and I love reading her blog everyday :)

6). Alicia Istanbul’s Designs – Alicia is a very talented jewelry maker and a busy Mom and super runner – check out her blog this week she has one of the best giveaways EVER :)

7). MAB’s Notes on Jewelry – Laura, wow, this girl is so creative in her jewelry making and blogs like no other, funny, always entertaining and often thought provoking.
