The Long and Winding Road to San Fran!

I wanted to pop on to my blog quickly and say "Hi" to everyone.

Given that I am a new Empty Nester and given that I have been a stay at home Mom for the past 25 years I decided to take my new camera (will she ever shut up about that one) and myself on a little road trip to San Fran. to visit my Daughter and take her some of her boxes that were clogging up our attic. I also took some of my art work to hang on the walls in her new apartment.

My Daughters fav. of my art pieces "Raspberry Delight"

And for their Living Room "Waves and Mountains"

I had a really great trip (more about that another day!) Lots of Mother/Daughter bonding, lots of wine drinking, eating outside, walks by the bay in the sunshine..............

And yes, I did take a ridiculous amount of photos, I will share some soon.

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

I'm about to be 24 and still appreciate trips, goodies, art, and lots of camera-love from my mom! Your art is stunning!

ps...I'm a stay-at-home mom and often wonder (dread) how things will be when the kids leave...I still have a while, but can't help thinking about it. I am looking forward to going out for wine with my daughter though!

I've never had a chance to go to San Francisco, but my husband has been several times on business. He always raves about it - I need to stowaway next time! Looking forward to the pictures.
