Red, White and Blue.

Happy Monday to Everyone :)

Today I woke up to an email saying I was in another Treasury! YAY! This is such a pretty one, lots of Flowers, you know how I love my Flowers :) The Art of Flowers By Victoria English Charm She added my Lovely Pink Peony to the Treasury, thank you so much :)

I wanted to share with you another project I am working on (yep, apart from the Artwork and the Photography) Although, I have to tell you I started this quilt top, oh a long time ago, possible 6 years ago and it got buried in the piles of fabric in my sewing room. Recently, I have been going thru my fabrics for a Garage Sale and I found this project sitting there just waiting patiently for me to give it some loving attention. So, over the next few weeks I have set myself the challenge to at least finish the quilt top.

I think I bought fabric to make a Queen size quilt (but it is so long ago that I do not quite remember) 63 squares needed plus the borders, wish me luck :)

Fabrics I am using.

Pattern book I am using :)

How the quilt squares will lay out tog :)

Need 32 of the Star block (have 10 right now)

Then 31 of the chain block

That is what I will be working on over the next few weeks. What are you working on? I would love to see :) Post a link in the comments and let's share some fun and support :)

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

That treasury is just beautiful! My mom and I started a quilt and the pieces are sitting around. I keep telling her we need to finish it, but other things keep coming up! =)

It looks beautiful and will become a cherished heirloom after it is completed. That's the lovely thing about a family quilt, they are always treasured as they are handed down from one generation to the next. Perhaps it is because we all know that so much time and love goes into creating one. :)
Also must say that your fabric choices are outstanding and are perfect with the pattern that you chose.

I especially love the blue fabric you chose for the star. Really historic feeling. Great project. I have been painting up a storm lately. It's been fun....but my goal is so far away still. So many paintings to complete. Good to be ambitious!

My favorite quilt patterns are the traditional star patterns like this one and I'm a sucker for red, white and blue! I'm making Shylee a dress but haven't taken any pictures...I should go do that! Congrats on another treasury!!
