Mixed Up Monday!

Happy Monday everyone :)

Well, I have to say that last week was definitely a very frustrating week for me on Etsy. I had 3 serious "almost" sales that fell thru and once again I thought that maybe Etsy is not the venue for me. It is so much work organising 4 shops and when things like last week happen I just pretty much despair. (OK, vent over, let's move on :)

I wanted to share with you my latest Etsy listings. I feel really good about them. :)

Beautiful Rose

This one is in a Treasury HERE :)
I also wanted to share with you something I learned last week about finding out whether you are in a Treasury or not. I had no clue, I just assumed that the people who put you in Treasuries sent you a convo and those were the only ones I was in. Well, it turns out that you can search the treasuries http://www.etsy.com/treasury just by typing in your shop name and it will come up with all the treasuries that you are listed in. Who knew! I found out I was in 37! Which is awesome, now if we could just turn that into sales, I'd be the happiest girl in town. :)

So, to end on a high note, I wanted to share with you some Giveaways that are pretty cool. We all love free stuff but when it is kick ass art and handmade items well I just had to share the love :)

1). Go over to see Stacey at Artsnark's Blog and check out the wonderful art print giveaway by Ascender Rises Above (closes Thursday 29th)

2). Pop over to Knot Cha Cha Blog and check out Sharon's Annual Giveaway with 4 items to choose from :) (closes Sat. July 31st)

3). Stop by Walter Helena Photography Blog and enter to win a beautiful 8 x 8 Giclee print (closes 28th July)

4). And Lastly, visit Nakisha is Blue Dog Rose to vote and win cute Xmas Cards (closes Aug. 6th)

Have a great start to the week :)

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

Sorry about the nonpaying buyer. I had one of those last week in my supply shop, and her feedback was horrible. It's discouraging, yes. But your photos are so lovely, sweetie. Hang in there.

Gorgeous photos! I didn't know that about the treasury either. I also look on Craftopolis, but I think it has some glitches because at times I know I am in a treasury, but nothing comes up on the Craftopolis Treasure hunt feature.
Thanks for the tip!

So sorry about your Etsy troubles, but your not in that boat by yourself. I've not had a non payer but I've not sold much either. Hang in there toots.

T,
Sorry to hear about those almost sales. But being featured in all those treasuries - wow - just think of the potential sales there! I'm missing the whole Etsy experience so I must get my motivation back soon and open up my shop again.

Getting your hopes up just to have them let down just sucks! I'm sorry that happened. :(

I think these photos are at the top of my favorites! Congrats on the treasuries. I hope the features translate into sales for you!!!
