YAY ME!!!!!! Here I go again! I am SOOOOOOOO excited :) I have been looking at upgrading my camera for a long time. But the guilt of spending a large amount of money on myself kept getting in the way of actually getting down and purchasing a camera but this weekend, as I am in a wonderful, blissful creative mode, I decided to bite the bullet, thru caution to the wind (ok, that would be sense!) and go ahead and buy a really good camera. One I will keep forever (that is me justifying the expense, can you tell? :) So here it is. My new Baby! (and yes, I am going to name her :)
She is so pretty and has so many gadgets, buttons, instructions, it might be a while before I take any actual photos, let alone that will be worth viewing. So, I will keep you posted on my progress and if anyone has any advice on using this camera I would love some pointers to get started. Now, I have to find the Dummies guide, seriously, at the bottom of the bag that should help me in switching the camera on, right????
Don't forget to enter the 2 giveaways on my blog that end this week, just follow the links and post a comment :)

I'm jealous! lol Have fun with your baby. It is hard to figure out all the buttons and switches, lights and gadgets on new toys! Good luck though!
Ahhhh awesome! Congratulations! I have the D60 and I just love it. I don't have any advice other than that I found it totally worth it to learn how to use the manual mode - it seemed daunting at first but when you have time to experiment with a few shots (ie not trying to take a photo of a disgruntled cat) it gives you so much more flexibility. Oh, and I don't know if you already have a tripod, but my sister in law bought me one for my birthday and it's one of the most used presents I've ever gotten.
Have fun!
Have a blast with your new camera. NIKON ROCKS! :)
Congrats on the new camera! How exciting!!
BTW ~ you won my October Giveaway!! I'll be emailing you :) Jenni
How wonderful and lucky for you ! A lovely new camera, and a Nikon...now you can go professional photo hound ! :)
How I'd love a really good camera, but my hubby tends to be rather Scotch so if it's not rated as a Consumer Reports "BEST BUY" he won't get it. Guess that's why I have the little camera that I've got (with very little zoom capabilities, which has often been frustrating). Sigh...guess I'll just envy yours. =)
woohoo - lucky you! You're so going to have fun with this
Okay, this I am jealous of!!! LOL I have an old hand me down from my dad:( But maybe Santa will bring me one?
☺Happy for you☺
