My New Artwork :)

Hi All :)

I hope your week is going well :)

As some of you may remember I had to pack up my Art Studio space well over a year ago as we were planning to remodel our kitchen (where my art studio was a part of) but (because of other life plans) that never happened completely and so I have been slowly dragging things back (from all corners of the house) to my Art space but it just doesn't have the same feeling anymore and I am reluctant to unpack everything or even hang up much of my stuff back on the newly painted walls (at least we got that part done) or splash them 'cuz if you saw me painting, well, let's just say I'm pretty messy when I paint, lol :)

So, I had been working on smaller art pieces (ones that will fit on the table top) and that has been a challenge for me as I like to paint BIG!
Well, I got tired of that and bought some larger canvases, the Girl really has to have a larger surface to paint on, that's all there is to it, lol :)

My poor easel, has done a major tour of the house multiple times  (depending on who was home or what rooms were needed for people visiting at the time) but just before Xmas I decided "She" needed to be back in my Art Space, well, you know how Xmas is, always so busy and crazy, so no painting got done at all. With one thing and another I didn't get a larger canvas onto my easel until March :)

But, look what happened, I am so excited :)

It feels like I have my ART MOJO back, YAY!!!! :)

I Hope you enjoy my new artwork :)
and yes, most of them are larger canvases, lol :)

I'm so happy you're painting :) I was wondering if you were! I love the bright bold colors and my favorite is Rain Drops. I thought it looked like water before I saw the title! Thanks so much for showing us these incredible paintings. Wishing you much luck with the shows :)

Hi A. :)

Thank you so much for your sweet and encouraging words, my friend :)

It is great to be back painting but sometimes the challenge of shows is a bit too much, so I am only applying for a couple of local ones for now, fingers crossed :)

Hope you are having a great week, cheers, T. :)

Congrats on being back in the saddle!! It's hard being creative when your space doesn't feel comfortable or it feel wonk. Glad you were able to find your 'happy place' again, because some great things were produced from it. :)

How beautiful, Teresa! I'm especially loving the top one and am so envious that you work large. I'm one of those, work small, keep it tight, artists. Trying to move away from this but what comes natural, comes natural, right?

Hi L. :)

I really did try to do some smaller work but boy was it a challenge; So, I admire you to be able to do that and yep, I agree we are going to do what comes naturally :)

Have a lovely week, cheers. T. :)

Hi D. :)

Thanks so much for the compliment and it makes me so excited when people say they have a fav. :)

"Flying High" was one of my challenge pieces to try and go smaller but I could only go as small as 12" x 12" lol :)

Thanks for stopping by, cheers, T. :)

I love your new pieces! Evening Walk is beautiful. I totally understand your need to work on large canvas, that feeling of space must feel amazing. Enjoy creating!

I love the bright and happy colors. I paint or draw wherever I can find an empty space. My dining room table looks like an abstract painting. I was going to clean it, but a family member discouraged me saying there is a lot of hard work and history on that table.

Hi M. :)

That is just what happened to my kitchen table too :) (and the floor, oops!!!, lol :)

Between taking Photos and creating Artwork, I keep busy :)

It is the tidying up afterwards & so trying to find a space to create can be challenging, lol :)

Have a wonderful Thursday, cheers, T. :)

T, they are all amazing, vibrant, alive and beautiful. Glad you let your creative artist out to express herself. I'm sure you must have felt like a bird let out of its cage, free to spread your wings and fly. :)

Oh p.s. - Hope the shows are great. I would be most surprised if you did not get a number of top awards on this new batch of paintings.

Hi A. :)

Thank you so much for your lovely words of support and encouragement.

It is always a scary thing to put abstract art out there in shows 'cuz "everyone's a critic" but I also want my work out there :) I feel really good about this collection of work, so fingers crossed :)

Have a wonderful evening, cheers, T. :)
