Thankful Thursday :)

Good Afternoon all :)

Again I am joining My Blogger Buddy Annette at So Many Memories blog for "Thankful Thursday".

I LOVE the idea that we, at least for one day a week, stop and think consciously about what we are Thankful for :)

This week I am Thankful for candles and night lights :)

click on photos to see larger sized images :)

I know it might seem frivolous to be grateful for these items but when the power goes out and it always seems to go out at night then I am so, so THANKFUL I have candles, torches and camping lamps (even though the camping lights have never been used for camping, I'm not a camping girl, camping is a 3 star hotel for me (He! He!)

Don't forget to pop over and visit Annette at So Many Memories to see what she is Thankful for today :)

The photos are fantastic T.
When my girls were little we used to do a lot of camping (and water skiing). I can't say that I loved "roughing it". Living in a tent, cooking on a camp-stove, sleeping in a sleeping bag and enduring a whole lot of bug bites was never my idea of a vacation, but I tolerated it as our girls seemed to enjoy being out in the "wilderness". Now if my vacations don't include staying in a nice hotel or B&B I tell my hubs to "forget it". Camping lanterns and candles are only romantic if you're not swatting at mosquitoes. :D
