This week has just flown by! I didn't get as much done as I planned to do but hopefully I will hit the painting with a vengeance later today. :)
But before that I wanted to share my Friday Flowers with you :)
I have pretty much run out of Flower pictures in my Garden, it has started raining here and everything is turning brown and not in a lovely Fall colour way :(
So, on my travels around the local neighbourhoods (just call me the Garden Stalker, get it (He! He!) I found some lovely Flowers that I do not get to grow in my Garden :)
So, this week's Friday Flowers are some of the pretty Sunflowers that I found in the "Hoods" :)
I hope you enjoy them too! :)
I love the colours in this one :)
And the way the Petals curl and wave :)
All the fun things that are happening in the centre :)
How some can be small :)
And some large :)
Such Happy Faces :)
I love this in B. & W. What do you think?
Oh that Sunflower is definitely waving at me :)
Some grow in different directions :)
Such powerful colour :)
Little Tutus :)
Looks like a Sunflower Coffee Morning get tog. :)
This center is so orderly, beautiful :)
Radiant :)
Is this Australian! (jk :)
I was really excited about this shot and the "Bokeh" on the left :)
I love the hint of the distant fields still in late afternoon sunshine at the top of this shot :)
This is my Fav. I think because of the colours and the near perfection of the flower and the complete sturdiness and uplifted and uplifting Face :)
My Hubby and I were walking around a community garden and we were greeted by this adorable Cat :)
Who processed to escort us around, maybe it was a "Watch Cat" making sure we didn't steal any of the AMAZING produce :)
Those marking are just gorgeous :)
I think at one point it got bored with us :)
Giving my Hubby the evil eye :)
And just look at those Whiskers, beautiful :)
I hope you enjoyed Friday Flowers!
Have a Lovely Weekend everyone, see you next week :)
Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

i love the black and white sunflowers!
Sunflowers all ways make me smile so I got a lot of smiles out of your blog today. :) What a cute kitty, really pretty coloring and nice markings.
hahaha how fun to have a feline tour guide! he looks like a tough guy. :P
i'm passing on your sunflowers to my pal who loves 'em. they're beautiful!
have a great weekend, T!
The sunflowers around town have been driving me crazy - in a good way! I love them so much. They're such a great harbinger of early fall, getting ready for the cooler weather, boots, jackets, mugs of hot tea by the fire...
OOh Pretty! I love sunflowers! what a cute cat, my cat does the same to people walking in my hood.
Great picture! I love how much the flowers vary even tho they are all the same kind!
I used to wander my old neighborhood and take pictures of all the flowers around too :) Hope you enjoyed your walk!
You are so very talented. Please point out to your neighbor that when the flowers have dropped the petals the seed heads will be ripe. A fun family project is to cut off the heads, let them dry and poke a hole through the top. Hand them outside for the birds in winter by stringing a piece of twine through the hole. happy weekend!
Gorgeous flower photos! And what a cute watch kitty. Perhaps he has some jungle cat blood to pull off that scowl so well? ^.^
I love sunflowers. I would full my whole house full of them if I could. Needless to say, I loved the pictures. Thank you for sharing them.
I think you captured the true beauty of the sunflower! It's sad to think the flowers will soon be gone! You have a great weekend too, T. :)
Gorgeous pics Poppy! So pretty - it's getting too cold for pretty flowers here already... and that cat is very handsome!

Stolen flowers and a definite "stink eye" from the stealth kitty! Lovely.
Amazing sunflowers! I was sort of sad that I only got three big ones out of all the seeds we planted. I adore the one with the burnt orange middle. SO cool. And I love the garden kitty. I just want to reach out and hug him (or was it a her?)
Love the sunflowers!! I really like the first one and the one that was your favorite.
I also, LOVE that kitty!! It almost looks like a lion in one of those pictures...so cute!
Those sunflowers are beautiful! And you took some great pictures of the "watch cat". Love!
I love that you caught that can in the act of it's protective duties! What a great guard cat :)
Hahaha - as my kids say make sure the cat doesn't do "Catjitsu" on your leg. You have out done yourself T. these are *Gorgeous* - I am in love with those orange centered sunflowers.
