Thank you.

I just wanted to say a BIG "THANK YOU" to everyone who wished me a Happy B.Day, that was really sweet :)

Small section of artwork by Brian Miller.

I would also like to say "Thank you" to my Blogging Buddy Annette at So Many Memories blog for posting about my Photo Giveaway! Still time to enter :)

And lastly, I am intrigued to know how people feel about blogging. So, I posted a thread in the Etsy forums just to hear people's thoughts. Mainly, I am interested to know if anyone feels there are any unwritten protocols or etiquettes to the process of blogging. Here is the link to the thread or please leave me a comment with your thoughts here on this posting :)

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

Wonderful art work of Brian Miller. It looks like a mosaic...or is it a painted facsimile of a mosaic. Either way it is fantastic...great vivid colors and shapes.

Interesting thought about blogging protocol. I think in general it is probably fairly relaxed, though there are certainly some issues that we agree must be observed, such as respecting the photos, art and literature of others. I have a blogger friend that began posting some excerpts from a book she was writing but then she was alerted to the fact that another blogger was copying and using her words as though they were his own. Not giving any mention or credit to the original author. So my friend had to stop posting her excerpts.
One thing I hate are those people who have off color blogs and pornographic avatars and they decide to follow a blog that is decidedly family orientated. I've seen it on other blogs, fortunately it happens rarely, and I had it happen to me once. I quickly blocked the new follower which removed the offensive avatar from my followers widget on my blog. Didn't want it out there for the world to see...didn't want it out there where I could see it either. LOL

Loving all that color! Well, yes I'm sure someone could write a book on the unspoken rules of blogging :) Just a few that I live by... reciprocation is key, remember to credit others for their photos/artwork, and always thank people--like you just did in this post :)
