When it has been raining for days it is hard for me to remember the last time it wasn't raining :(
So, I am glad I was able to get this shot of the first spring bulbs blooming in my Garden :) In between rain showers.
These beautiful crocus having been coming back year after year, multiplying and needing very little care from me. Oh I love hardy plants! :)
So, if we can just keep the snake away from them things will be fine. Oh yeah, we have a snake, poss. more than one living in our garden. He (well, of course it has to be a male, HE! HE!) has already destroyed the roots on my favourite Rose bush with his tunneling and he seems as busy as ever with his snake holes. On the bright side we don't seem to have much of a mole problem anymore :)
I think it is time to get some polyanthus for the pots around the front door. Oh, Spring is in the air..........................now I have that song stuck in my head.........................
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend :)
Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

Beautiful! And gives me hope on a gray Seattle day that spring is indeed on its way!! :)
I can't wait for spring...it's my favorite season! I don't even want to think about the snakes!
Oh! Those are beautiful! I was just saying on another blog how we really need spring to come. I feel like I can see the winter blues in other people through their blogs. We need a spring creativity boost!
Bethany, you are so right :)
I think I will keep posting flowers every week :) T.
Beautiful!!!
spring is upon us! i can't wait posts like this get me very excited about what's to come in my garden soon!
Happy Spring! Beautiful picture!!
we don't get spring where i live...great summers and falls, but spring sort of never happens...we go from winter to spring. the ocean keeps us warm late into the fall but also keeps us very cool in the spring...so i love to see everyone else's flowers! we have snow and our crocuses will bloom in the wet, cold, rain, most likely!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. We are actually headed back to PDX for the summer and then are most likely going to spend a year in Europe for my husband to get another degree. It's not 100% yet, still waiting to hear! Then we will come back to PDX for good.
Oh, send some spring my way, lady! Snakes and all. I can handle it.
Oh, I love crocuses, I used to plant bulbs with my grandfather and wait for them to bloom in the spring. I love the purple ones too. We're still mired in that nasty spring snow here - where it's all dingy and dirty and there's starting to be bare patches but no green yet. But we're already in mid-February... winter must be over soon!!
T The crocus are lovely, their color reminds me of the California Poppy, one of my favorite flowers. I'm California dreaming right now, in the springtime after some rain the hillsides of California come alive with golden poppy and purple lupine...sigh!
Got an order this morning and it only cost ME $0.48! LOL I have a couple of things priced too low but I know nobody is going to buy them if I jack up the price to cover etsy & paypal, so I just keep my fingers crossed that people will purchase a few other things along with them. But you know how old Murphy and his law is...never gonna happen. :)
o...m...g...
I'm up in pittsburgh under feet of snow.
SO JEALOUS! Looks like your garden will be just stunning this year!!
Flowers make my heart sing I just love my garden..not sure about the snake though thankfully not a problem for me.
