Cold, Cold Britain!

A friend in Manchester, England sent this photo to us yesterday. It is a satellite photo of Britain completely covered in snow. I was absolutely blown away by the beauty of this image but also a little unnerved because that is what my son flew back to on Tuesday. Thankfully, he only experienced slight flight delays (he squeaked in between storms in Northern and Southern England.)

Here's hoping that the temperatures rise soon :) Snowballs fights and Snowman building are only enjoyable for a few days.

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

I have been paying attention to the weather on in Britain too..crazy! I guess that's what it felt like there yearly during the little ice age.

Holy Cow! That is beautiful. I wonder how often that happens with the entire place is covered.
