Happy Friday Everyone!

I am so excited to show you this week's Friday Flowers! Here in Portland, Oregon we have a reputation for our Roses. :)

P.Town is sometimes called "The City Of Roses." We have a gorgeous Rose Garden, which is what us Plebs call it but its official name is the "International Rose Test Garden" If you would like to read more about it here is a very informative LINK

A few weeks ago my Hubby and I took a trip to visit the Rose Garden and I took 500 photos in less than an hour. Here are the ones I love, I hope you enjoy them too!

I added this shot, not because it is overly stunning but that it has the Rose in every stage from bud all the way thru to a wilting flower. I love it :)

Even rain damaged these Roses look gorgeous!

I really hope you enjoyed this little tour of our wonderful Rose Garden here in P.Town. :) Come back next week for some of the other plants at the Rose Garden :)

Have a Lovely Weekend everyone, see you next week :)

Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

i hope you don't judge me too harshly when i say we didn't even make it to the rose garden on our trip to Portland... BUT in my defense, i am petrified of bees, and generally get pretty nervous in gardens full of blooms.

that's why i love your Friday posts -- i can enjoy all your beautiful flowers without having to freeze up everytime i hear a "bzzz bzz bzzzzz!" :P

ps - this non-weirdo thanks you for your comments yesterday. ;)

have a wonderful weekend!!!

Hard to beat roses for beauty and fragrance. My favorite photo is the one of the climbing rose on the lamppost, it is charming and has character and atmosphere.

I agree with Charlotte - feels like bit of late summer lingering during this rainy, rainy weekend. Lovely as usual!
