Hi All :)
I hope you are all well and are experiencing some Sunshine; we have had 3 days of sun here in the P.Town around and are giddy, we are breaking out the shorts and sun screen, LOL! :)
Beautiful Flowers on the grounds of our hotel in San Diego :)
Well, I was on vaca in San Diego for my B.Day last week and had lots of wonderful sunshine and swimming in the outdoor pool; Oh, a dream for this P.N. Westerner, esp. as it snowed and poured with rain in Portland while we were away.
My Hubby literally had to drag me on to the plane to get me to leave, LOL! :)
But, sadly all good things have to come to an end and then I came home to a diagnosis of Glaucoma, which on top of everything else I am dealing with healthwise was not what I needed to hear esp. after having such a wonderful week last week and finally recovered from my last CFS/Fibro relapse :(
So, have been trying to process that all week. :(
But today is my Son's B.Day and so I am going to take him and my Daughter out for lunch, hang out in the sunshine and have a few drinks! :)
So, Cheers to everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful Weekend!
Take Care, my Friends! :)
I will post some of the lovely photos I took in San Diego next week :)
Happy Painting/Creating! :) T.

Sometimes we need a little break from our lives. They keep us looking forward...sorry to hear you are dealing with these health issues...I certainly know how it feels to be dealing with that! I have just been exhausted lately, just when I get ahead I feel like I'm running behind again!
Have fun celebrating! Hope he has a great birthday!
T,
Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hang in there!
Happy Birthday to your son!
Haven't the last 3 days been wonderful? It is amazing what a little sunshine and vitamin D will do for the spirt. The icing on the cake is Daylight Saving time this weekend. Color me happy!!!
Love the beautiful picture in todays blog. So bright and summery.
Have a great weekend!
Happy Belated Birthday T!
I got the sunscreen out too this past week. I spent every sunny-day afternoon at the park so the kids could run wild. Natural Vit-D is divine :)
I am sending positive, healing thoughts your way for internal peace and strength as you digest this medical news. You have a fighting spirit that I greatly admire.
I'll be in your neck of the woods today, as I will most Saturdays working on the old house. I would love to meet you for coffee someday! Hugs, Jenni
Sorry to hear about your health issues ... my daughter and I suffer from auto-immune disease, which has caused a ton of symptoms, physical and mental. So, when I tell you we have an idea of what you're going through you will know that we know. I find it is best not to talk about it very much, just once in a while and act as if all is ok. That seems to work for a bit. I'm a big believer in positive thinking and energy ... so I really try to keep that up.
My very best wishes and thoughts go to you, always.
Love and Light to all.
I'm definitely jealous to hear you've been in San Diego while the rest of us in PNW have been hunkered down in the chilly rain. I'm glad you had a lovely time!
What a bummer about the glaucoma. I don't know that much about the specifics of it, but really hope it moves slowly and it won't impact your ability to do your photography for a long time to come!
T - Sorry to hear your latest news. Life throws us all kinds of curve balls and some are harder to handle than others. Surround yourself with positive thoughts - thinking of you.

Sunshine makes everything better! Great flower photo, can't wait to see the rest from your trip.
Stay strong and keep thinking of the pool!
T - Sounds like you had a marvelous time in San Diego. The last time John and I were there was over 40 years ago. Unfortunately I can't say as it was all that bright and sunny then, as we had experienced a lot of coastal fog. But guess the sun can't shine all day, every day, everywhere. :)
I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis on your eyes. Getting older is no bed of roses ... or maybe it is but someone forget to remove the thorns. John was diagnosed a few years back with macular degeneration and I've been dealing with a cataract.
Wishing you well. :)
Happy Belated Birthday! San Diego...how lovely! It's quite close to us, yet somehow we rarely go. I can't wait to see your photos.
So sorry to hear about your eyes. :-( I hope that you will be able to work with your doctor with positive results.
Happy Monday my friend!!
Yes, I had to drag you onto the plane! I think your words were "Have a good flight" with a scary kind of smile on your face. Let's hope we can find a way to return before too long. I look forward to being back there too and seeing your next photos as a reminder.
My Dad and his wife are in San Diego!!! I would love ot go . So sorry you've gotten a lousy diagnosis - I hope you got to have a nice time with your son! XOXO
Happy to read your blog and sad to read the rest. For some reason I think there are many of us here with an autoimmune disease or two. I don't know about glacoma but hope something can be done.

so sorry to hear about the glauc. i am very close to having it. :( but my dad had it, took his medicine religiously, and was able to reverse it to the point where he doesn't 'officially' have it anymore! that gives me hope. :)
we're getting random peeks of sun up here, but still cold cold COLD. hope the sunshine has found its way down to you. happy friday!
What a fun way to celebrate your birthday! I've always wanted to go to San Diego.
Glaucoma? Really? Like you need that on top of everything else! I really am sorry to hear this and will keep you in my prayers for the very best outcome in this situation.
And that photo is just gorgeous!
Thank you so much for your support and kind words :)
You guys are awesome :)
Nobody could ask for better Blogger Buddies then you all :)
Have a lovely day, cheers, T. :)
T, I did not realize you were a March baby, too! Sounds like San Diego was fun...I have always wanted to go.
I am so sorry to hear about the glaucoma. I pray that something can be done about that. It sounds scary but I am thinking good thoughts for you.
